Before You Visit

Casual Waterfront Dining on Morris Cove

Restaurant reservations do not reserve The Deck for a private event. Private events held outside on The Deck are booked separately and follow The Inn's event pricing, policies, minimums, and availability.

Dining at The Deck

Reservations, Hours & Seating

Here is what to know before visiting our seasonal waterfront restaurant.

Is The Deck a restaurant?
Yes. The Deck is Amarante's seasonal waterfront restaurant, serving food and drinks in a relaxed outdoor setting overlooking Morris Cove.
When is The Deck open?
The Deck operates seasonally. Days and hours may change during the season, so please review our current hours before making your trip.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are encouraged, especially during popular dining times. Walk-in seating may depend on the weather, table availability, and the number of guests in your party.
How do I make a restaurant reservation?
Use The Deck restaurant reservation page to view current availability and reserve a table. A dining reservation is for regular restaurant service and does not reserve the space for a private event.
Can I request a specific table?
You may share a seating request when making your reservation. However, specific tables and locations cannot be guaranteed because seating depends on availability, weather, and restaurant operations.
What happens if the weather is poor?
Because The Deck is an outdoor restaurant, rain, wind, heat, storms, and other conditions may affect seating or operating hours. Please check for current updates before visiting.
Can restaurant hours change for a private function?
Yes. Restaurant access or hours may occasionally change due to a private function or other operating needs. Check the current schedule before arriving.

Restaurant or Private Event?

Choosing the Right Type of Booking

A restaurant reservation and a private event are different bookings. Please choose the option that matches the experience you are planning.

Regular Dining

Restaurant Reservation

Choose this option when your group wants to dine during regular restaurant service. Your party receives restaurant seating and orders from The Deck's current menu.

This does not reserve a private area or the entire Deck.

Celebrations & Gatherings

Private Event on The Deck

Choose this option when you want a reserved event space, planned menu, dedicated timeline, or a private experience for your invited guests.

Outdoor private events on The Deck follow The Inn's event pricing, policies, minimums, and availability.

Can I book a birthday dinner through restaurant reservations?
If your group only needs a table during normal restaurant service, use the restaurant reservation process. If you need a private area, planned program, custom setup, or event package, submit a private-event inquiry.
Can I reserve part or all of The Deck privately?
Private use depends on the date, season, guest count, and event schedule. Contact the events team to discuss availability. Private outdoor events on The Deck follow The Inn's pricing and event policies.
Does a large restaurant reservation become a private event?
Not automatically. However, larger groups or gatherings that require reserved space, special setup, a planned menu, or dedicated service may need to be handled by the events team. Please contact us so we can direct you to the correct booking option.
